La noche del viernes 7 de febrero de 2025 en el Barker Hangar de Santa Mónica, fue celebrada la 30ª edición de los Critics Choice Awards, galardón que honra lo mejor del cine y la televisión.
Tras retrasarse en dos ocasiones producto de los incendios de California, los Critics Choice Awards 2025 llevaron a cabo una importante ceremonia que tuvo como anfitriona a la comediante Chelsea Handler.
En el renglón cine las aclamadas películas “Wicked” y “Conclave” eran las más nominadas de la noche con 11 nominaciones, cada una, mientras que la controvertida “Emilia Pérez” y “Dune: Parte Dos”, ostentaban 10 nominaciones previo a la ceremonia de premiación.
Mientras que en el renglón televisivos el drama de Hulu “Shōgun” dominaba , con seis nominaciones.
